Best Cellars Wine Store illuminated bottle display.
New prototype for new national brand for the sommeliers Joshua Wesson & Richard Marmet.
The concept grew with the goal to demystify the wine buying experience by presenting wines by taste rather than region or grape type.
The design consists of a stained glass wall of back-lit wine bottles, with the stage set to the street.
This formula was repeated in additional Best Cellar Stores on the East Coast and in Seattle.
Winner of 1998 Lumen Award.
Best Cellars also received a citation for interior architecture from the American Institute of Architects.
